I've never played a solo board game that keeps me this tense — every dice placement decides whether the mothership inches closer to Earth. The underground bunker theme actually comes through in the mechanics, not just the art. I've lost track of how many times I've reset just to try one more run.
I've played this solo about ten times now and the alien ships descending turn by turn genuinely stress me out in the best way. Managing the dice across the bunker while the mothership inches closer is such a tight balancing act.
The dice placement mechanic makes every turn feel like a tense little puzzle, and I love that the mothership track keeps descending whether I'm ready or not. Setup takes five minutes and it plays in about half an hour, so it hits the table way more often than my other solo games.
