And now you have just opened the first pet shop in town. Right next door to the other first pet shop in town. Across the street from two more. Buy baby monsters! Feed them and watch them grow! Clean their cages!

Yes, running a pet store is exciting for an imp. But it can also be mentally challenging: What is the smartest way to win the upcoming exhibition? Which pet is best suited for your dungeon lord customer? How strong a cage do you need, and if you guess wrong, how many family members will be maimed?

Win or lose, you are sure to enjoy the grand opening of Dungeon Petz.

The whole buying-and-feeding loop is way more stressful than I expected, in the best way. Watching a baby monster grow into something huge and then trying to match it to a picky customer had our group arguing for an hour straight.

Ryan ★★★★★

The pet shop theme is way more fun than I expected, and raising the baby monsters through feeding and cleaning phases keeps everyone at the table engaged. Turns move fast once you learn the worker placement, so our group of four finished a game in about 90 minutes.

The whole gimmick of feeding and cleaning up after baby monsters had my group laughing for three hours straight. Scoring points for how well your pet does at the exhibition is genuinely tense, and the imp cards keep every round unpredictable. Best purchase I've made this year.
