The co-op tension when the demon deck starts stacking up is genuinely tense, and we lost our first run by a single health point. Took about two hours for three players, which felt right for how much ground the quest covers.

The gear-up phase before facing the Lord of Demons is what sold me, every weapon upgrade feels earned instead of handed to you. Played a four-player run last weekend and the demonic invasion scaling kept it tense right to the final showdown.

The escalating tension as you gear up before facing the Lord of Demons keeps everyone at the table hooked. Our four-player group argued over loot for an hour and nobody wanted to stop.
